Because they sit on treated skids rather than a poured foundation, most sites need nothing more than level ground, and the building can be relocated later if you move.

Styling and layout change between models. What holds them up does not.
Floor
Built not to sag or rot
- Treated skids and joists on 16" centers, rated for ground contact
- 4x6 notched floor skids — two on 8' wide buildings, four on 10' and 12' wide
- 5/8" LP ProStruct treated floor decking with interlocking SmartFinish
- Pulling blocks at the centermost skids so the building can be moved without damage
Walls
Finished, painted, warranted
- LP SmartSide engineered wood siding and trim, treated against water and insects
- 2x4 studs on 16" centers
- Metal hurricane straps tying wall framing to rafters, rated to 160 mph
- Glidden exterior paint in a choice of eleven colors
- Ring-shank coated nails throughout

Every building is painted and roofed at the shop, so it arrives finished. Pick the combination when you order — it costs the same whichever you choose.
Warranty
What is covered
- Standard buildings — 5-year limited warranty on workmanship and materials.
- Specialty buildings — 1-year limited warranty on Greenhouse, K-9 Condo, Chicken Coop and Playhouse models.
- Siding — LP SmartSide siding and trim carries a 50-year manufacturer warranty.
- Shingles — Dimensional shingles carry a manufacturer lifetime warranty.
Warranty runs to the original purchaser and requires the original serial tag to remain attached and visible. It does not cover installation or reinstallation costs, or the natural tendency of wood to split, warp or twist.
